Tooth Extractions
Occasionally it is necessary to remove a tooth. This can occur for a number of reasons such as tooth decay, impacted teeth, broken teeth that are beyond repair, or as a necessary step in preparation for orthodontic services.
During an extraction the dentist will need to numb your mouth with a local anesthetic. This numbing process can include the tooth, gums surrounding the tooth and possibly the jawbone.
After the mouth is properly numbed the doctor will remove
the tooth. You will feel pressure in your mouth but should not feel any pain
during the procedure.
If there is any discomfort please let us know.
